Bluetti, a renowned company specializing in renewable energy solutions, has recently made a noble contribution to the Lighting an Africa Family project. As part of this initiative, Bluetti has generously donated 50 solar power kits to impoverished rural families residing in Ilaro, Ogun State. The purpose of this strategic donation is to address the persistent power challenges faced by rural communities in the region and to promote access to clean and reliable energy sources. During the donation event, Bluetti distributed solar power kits to selected residents based on their commitment to community development and their need for a reliable power source. Each solar power kit includes a battery pack, solar panels, and LED bulbs, providing households with electricity during outages. In addition to the solar kits, Bluetti also distributed T-shirts to every family and provided notebooks and pens to the children present during the event.

The Otun-Iyaloja of Ilaro markets, Mrs Christianah Oduoye, who solicited Bluetti’s intervention, expressed gratitude for the company’s generous support, stating that the Ilaro community has long grappled with power scarcity and that this donation will significantly improve the residents’ lives. She disclosed that the radio will now be accessible at all times for information, and light will be available during the night to prevent domestic accidents that arise due to power outages. Children will be able to study and complete their school assignments with a steady source of light, and trading activities within the village will greatly improve.
